Achievements : Since 2005 we are taking classes in school and communities to aware all the childrens and peoples from sexual abuse. And in 2010 we had target 10,000 peoples to aware but finally, we achieved more than that we aware 13,300 peoples and now in 2011 we are planning to aware 20,000 pepoles from all over the rural areas of Nepal.

And in 2010 we have got many cases from different areas and have already recovered 50 cases by proper counseling from our resident and sent back to their own home town and we are having follow up time to time.

Establishment of another centre in Hetauda : Antardristi Nepal successfully opened  another centre in Hetauda and It has already been a year of its opening. Similar activities are being performed in Hetauda centre as well. Yet we have just opened the informations center and trying to enlarge it to makes it residential. 

Recent Activities

Interaction programme between privileged and non-privileged children Antardristi Nepal arranged an interaction program with children from different categories. Children from different walks of life attended the programme. They were from orphanages, government schools (as child labour), private schools and some who received counseling at AN centre. All the Children enjoyed as well as learned from the diversity of backgrounds of the other children present. During the interaction they received a lecture from one of the police personnel on how the police work and how the police help work against violence. This type of interaction is very important for these children in a country with a caste system that they are not alone and not so different from other children in their country.

• Performed Street Drama about Sexual Abuse at Basantapur, Kathmandu on December.
• Two day's Psychology Training for Budhanilkantha School's Teachers on March 5th & 8th 2011.

Skill Development activities

• Marble Panting.
• A refresher course on child rights was conducted for the staff. In addition to this AN sent one of the staff member to learn how to make incense, the training was delivered by one of the recovering drug addicts. This was done to empower and help them explore different areas. Another purpose of the training raise the possibility of enabling AN to make and sell them for minimal charge in order to help sustain the project to some extent.
